Podlove
A brief description of the Podlove project can be found on its website:
Podlove is both an network for developers to discuss features and agree on standards as well as an incubator for software and file formats under the Podlove name.
Amongst the various contribution I made to the project the most noticeable ones are part of two WordPress plugins:
Podlove Podcast Publisher
The Podlove Podcast Publisher is a WordPress plugin dedicated to extend your WordPress installation by a podcast CMS. There are a couple of cool features that make it (from my point of view) to the gold standard of podcast hosting. An overview is available here. A while ago a gave a talk on the purpose of the plugin.

Podlove Subsribe Button WordPress plugin
The Podlove Subscribe Button is a simple web widget that every web site can use to make it super easy for users to launch an app or podcast cloud service and to pass the right URL to without having to touch the URL itself.
Podlove Subsribe Button WordPress plugin brings this widgets to your WordPress installation with an easy to use UI to configure the buttons for your needs.
